European (3-way) handicap on crypto sportsbooks
European handicap (3-way) keeps three outcomes after a fixed line is applied to the final result: home, draw, or away. Unlike Asian handicap, an exact-margin result that would push an integer Asian line usually settles as a win for the draw selection on the European board — there is no stake-return push on that path.
Stake’s Help Center walks a 0:1 example: betting the home side needs at least a two-goal win; the draw selection wins if home wins by exactly one; the away selection wins on an away win or a tie. Other books may phrase lines differently — read the market rules on the ticket.
Crypto rails do not change handicap arithmetic. A USDT or BTC balance on the same European line still settles under the same three-way rules. For two-way quarter lines see our Asian handicap guide; for book margin see overround.
How we read terms
Primary source first. For each book we encode a deny list from that book’s own terms, AML page, or restricted-jurisdiction article. Secondary “reviews” are not the list.
How we earn
If you open a sportsbook account through /go, the book may pay us a commission. That is the only money path on this site.
Play within limits
You must be 18 or the legal age where you are, whichever is higher. Betting can be addictive. If it stops being a game, stop.
We may earn a commission if you open an account through our links. It does not change the facts on the page.
