Racing settlement on crypto sportsbooks

Racing settlement is separate from soccer-style sportsbook General rules. Stake publishes a dedicated Racing Rules page covering Thoroughbred, Harness and Greyhound. Official results follow the governing body in the race’s jurisdiction; once the authority declares the official final result of the day, later disqualifications or amendments do not reopen that settlement.

Dead heat reduces returns: expected payout divided by the number of runners in the dead heat. Scratching refunds that runner in full; in a Multi/Parlay the scratched leg is voided at odds 1.00 and the multi stands. Abandoned or transferred meetings void and refund (futures postponed or moved still stand until the event completes). Fixed-odds may take scratching deductions as a percent of expected winnings; multiple scratchings sum.

Place terms depend on field size: eight or more runners pay 1st–3rd; five to seven pay 1st–2nd; fewer than five are Win Only (late scratchings reducing below five may refund fixed place bets). Each-Way is equal stakes to Win and Place. Exotics (Quinella, Exacta, Trifecta, First Four) refund combinations that include a non-runner/scratching after confirmation; exotic payouts are capped at $100k USD per account per race. Starting Price is the last fixed odds at the end of betting.

Stake states there is no cash-out on horse racing — bets are final. Provider form errors are disclaimed. Crypto funding does not change these rules: a USDT or BTC balance still settles under the same Racing Rules.
