Ice hockey and NHL settlement on crypto sportsbooks

Stake’s Ice Hockey policy settles most markets on regulation time only unless the market is explicitly a period, overtime or shootout market. That is the NHL-style default on this book’s sportsbook HTML.

If a game is interrupted and continued within 48 hours of the listed start, open bets follow the final result; otherwise undecided bets are void. When a shootout decides the game, one goal is added to the winner’s tally and to the game total for settlement. A wrong clock (>2 minutes) or a wrong result line in a window can void affected markets. Period markets count only goals in that period.

Player props in the listed set are pre-match; overtime is included and shootout penalties are excluded. Same Game Multi voids follow the shared SGM pattern (a voided leg voids that SGM). Live anytime point markets use regulation goals and assists only.

These rules are Stake’s published sportsbook policy (HTML read 2026-09-14), not universal sports law. Other books on this site have their own terms — check that book’s policy; /go fail-closes on each brand’s geo deny. Crypto funding does not rewrite settlement.

How we read terms

Primary source first. For each book we encode a deny list from that book’s own terms, AML page, or restricted-jurisdiction article. Secondary “reviews” are not the list.

How we earn

If you open a sportsbook account through /go, the book may pay us a commission. That is the only money path on this site.

Play within limits

You must be 18 or the legal age where you are, whichever is higher. Betting can be addictive. If it stops being a game, stop.

We may earn a commission if you open an account through our links. It does not change the facts on the page.
