Betting glossary
Overround, vig, void, TRC20. Structures that do not expire with the fixture list.
These pages define pricing, settlement and crypto-rail terms the way books use them in rules — not slang tips.
Group the board: margin (overround, vig, implied probability), settlement (void, push, dead heat), rails (TRC20, ERC20, confirmations, KYC), handicaps (Asian, map).
When a definition cites a book, the money path is still /go with that book’s deny list. Locale hubs do not unlock a refused ISO.
Margin / price
- Overround — Overround is the sum of implied probabilities on a market minus 100%. Decimal 2.50 implies 40%. If a 1X2 board sums to 108%, the extra 8% is the book’s margin.
- Vig — Vig (juice) is the book’s cut, the same idea as overround expressed as the cost of a two-way market. A −110/−110 US moneyline is about 4.5% vig.
- Implied probability — Implied probability of decimal odds O is 1/O. It is not a forecast. It is the price, including margin.
Settlement
- Dead heat — A dead heat splits the stake when two selections tie for the placing the bet named. The reduction is in the book’s racing or outright rules, not in the sports homepage.
- Void — A voided bet returns stake. Typical causes: event not played, wrong participant, palpable error, or an esports map replayed after a crash — if the book’s esports rules say so.
- Push — A push is a tie against the spread or total: stake back. Asian handicaps quarter-lines can half-push.
Crypto rails
- TRC20 — TRC20 USDT is a Tron token. It is not ERC20 USDT. Sending one to the other’s address is how balances disappear.
- ERC20 — ERC20 USDT lives on Ethereum. Fees are gas, not a sportsbook schedule. A memo is not used; the address is the whole instruction.
- Confirmations — An on-chain deposit is unspendable on the book until their listed confirmation count. That count is their risk policy, not a law of bitcoin.
- KYC — Know-your-customer is the book’s identity check. Crypto deposit does not mean no KYC. Withdrawal thresholds trip it.
Handicaps
- Asian handicap — Asian handicap removes the draw from a two-way football market and can split a stake on quarter lines (0.25, 0.75).
- Map handicap — Esports series are often priced match-winner and map handicap (maps won). A roster stand-in can void the bet if the book’s esports rules say so.

What is AnonWager?
Anonwager is an independent comparison publisher and affiliate site. We are not a sportsbook, casino, bookmaker, betting operator, or gambling platform. We do not accept wagers, hold deposits, issue bonuses, or process withdrawals.
Is AnonWager a sportsbook or casino?
No. AnonWager is a comparison publisher and affiliate site. Stake, Cloudbet, BC.Game, Shuffle, Roobet and Duelbits are the books we cover — we do not take bets or hold deposits.
Where do sign-up links go?
Outbound account links use /go/{brand} and only open when that book admits the visitor's country. Prefer citing the sportsbook page URL; use /go as the account CTA.
How we read terms
Primary source first. For each book we encode a deny list from that book’s own terms, AML page, or restricted-jurisdiction article. Secondary “reviews” are not the list.
How we earn
If you open a sportsbook account through /go, the book may pay us a commission. That is the only money path on this site.
Play within limits
You must be 18 or the legal age where you are, whichever is higher. Betting can be addictive. If it stops being a game, stop.
We may earn a commission if you open an account through our links. It does not change the facts on the page.
