Baseball and MLB settlement on crypto sportsbooks
Stake Baseball assumes a scheduled length (usually nine innings, sometimes five to eight). Extra innings are out of markets unless the market name includes them. Mercy Rule early endings settle pre-match markets on the official result.
Winner including extras typically needs at least five innings (4.5 if the home team leads). Many totals, handicaps, odd/even and race markets void unless the full scheduled innings finish (or the over has already won where the policy says so). “Will there be an extra inning” can settle Yes when regulation ends level even if extras are not played.
Postponements void unless the game starts on the scheduled local day. Abandonments void undecided markets unless play continues within 48 hours. Starting-pitcher changes do not void. Venue changes void earlier player/SGM tickets. Same Game Multis void if the game is postponed, canceled or abandoned off the original date.
These rules are Stake’s published sportsbook policy (HTML read 2026-09-14), not universal sports law. Other books on this site have their own terms — check that book’s policy; /go fail-closes on each brand’s geo deny. Crypto funding does not rewrite settlement.

How we read terms
Primary source first. For each book we encode a deny list from that book’s own terms, AML page, or restricted-jurisdiction article. Secondary “reviews” are not the list.
How we earn
If you open a sportsbook account through /go, the book may pay us a commission. That is the only money path on this site.
Play within limits
You must be 18 or the legal age where you are, whichever is higher. Betting can be addictive. If it stops being a game, stop.
We may earn a commission if you open an account through our links. It does not change the facts on the page.
