Formula 1 settlement on crypto sportsbooks
Unless a market says otherwise, Stake settles Formula 1 on the result at podium presentation. If the race is postponed to another UTC calendar day, markets are void.
Drivers starting from the pit lane are ranked at the end of the starting grid for settlement. Head-to-head and group markets void if every listed driver retires on the same lap, or if a listed driver retires on or before the formation lap. Overtakes must stick until the end of the lap; first-lap, pit-entry/exit-lap and retirement-lap overtakes do not count.
A car is retired if it does not cross the finish when the session is complete (unless disqualified or did not start). First retirement shared on the same lap uses dead heat. The first car into the pit lane wins pit-stop markets; entering and retiring still counts as a pit stop. Fastest pit uses only box work time. Safety Car on the formation lap does not count toward Safety Car markets.
These rules are Stake’s published sportsbook policy (HTML read 2026-09-14), not universal sports law. Other books on this site have their own terms — check that book’s policy; /go fail-closes on each brand’s geo deny. Crypto funding does not rewrite settlement.

How we read terms
Primary source first. For each book we encode a deny list from that book’s own terms, AML page, or restricted-jurisdiction article. Secondary “reviews” are not the list.
How we earn
If you open a sportsbook account through /go, the book may pay us a commission. That is the only money path on this site.
Play within limits
You must be 18 or the legal age where you are, whichever is higher. Betting can be addictive. If it stops being a game, stop.
We may earn a commission if you open an account through our links. It does not change the facts on the page.
