Dead heat on outrights
Dead Heat rules apply on outright markets. A dead heat is when two or more competitors tie for a position in an event.
Stake then applies a dead-heat void factor based on the number of positions tied for divided by the number of competitors tied in that position. Returns are reduced accordingly rather than paying every tied selection in full.
Sport pages and racing rules can add more detail (for example racing dead-heat payout math). This general sportsbook clause is the baseline for outrights unless a sport page overrides it. Crypto funding does not change the factor.
