Matches not played as listed
If the venue differs from the listing, bets usually stand unless the match is switched to the opponent’s ground and home/away are reversed — then Stake may void. A change of listed opponent voids bets for that match.
If a side fields a reserve or underage team instead of the first team, Stake may void. If the match does not follow the generally accepted format (unusual period length, counting, structure) or the rules differ from Stake’s accepted norm, Stake may void.
These listing checks sit beside abandon/postpone rules: a fixture can be void for roster/format reasons even when the 48-hour completion window would otherwise keep markets open. Always read the sport-specific page when it overrides the general rule.
These rules are Stake’s published sportsbook policy (HTML read 2026-09-14), not universal sports law. Other books on this site have their own terms — check that book’s policy; /go fail-closes on each brand’s geo deny. Crypto funding does not rewrite settlement.

How we read terms
Primary source first. For each book we encode a deny list from that book’s own terms, AML page, or restricted-jurisdiction article. Secondary “reviews” are not the list.
How we earn
If you open a sportsbook account through /go, the book may pay us a commission. That is the only money path on this site.
Play within limits
You must be 18 or the legal age where you are, whichever is higher. Betting can be addictive. If it stops being a game, stop.
We may earn a commission if you open an account through our links. It does not change the facts on the page.
