Asian handicap markets on crypto sportsbooks

Asian handicap (AH) is a goal (or point) line that removes the three-way draw from a 1X2 board. You bet home or away against a handicap. The line is the adjustment applied to the final score before the bet settles.

Integer lines (e.g. −1, +1) can push: if the adjusted score is a draw, stake returns. Half lines (e.g. −0.5, +1.5) never push — one side always wins. Quarter lines (e.g. −0.25, +0.75) split the stake across the two nearest half/integer lines, so you can win half / lose half / push half depending on the margin.

Settlement is usually on the full-time score the book’s rules define (often 90 minutes in football, excluding extra time unless the market says otherwise). Stake’s Help Center describes AH as adjusting the final score of the wagered period by the handicap line before settlement (example −1.5 / +1.5). A voided fixture still follows that book’s void rules — no cross-book matrix. Read the market rules on the ticket.
